By creating, AffirmativeCareNJ, I aimed at providing a comprehensive online resource for reproductive health, harm reduction, and LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC physical and mental care in the North Jersey area. Our mission is to provide accessible, affirmative, and equitable resources that empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health, bridging the gaps in healthcare access with comprehensive information, empathy, and inclusivity at the core of our approach, serving not just our intended audience but creating a space where anyone can access healthcare resources and share among others, reflecting our belief that everyone, regardless of their background or identity, deserves the fundamental right to quality healthcare, especially in the North Jersey/NYC area, where we are dedicated to making a positive impact. There is no doubt that evidence based records show discrepancies among marginalized groups and the factors that affect their health navigation.
